Why Choose Aetna?
Have you been on a group plan? Do you now need an individual plan that
will offer you full coverage?
If this sounds like you….then maybe you should look into an Aetna individual
plan.
For many people Aetna is the perfect fit. If Aetna is able to offer you
coverage and you have had prior continuous coverage for at least 12 months, then
Aetna will cover your pre-existing conditions. However, coverage is NOT guaranteed
and your application is subject to underwriting.
The two most popular plans are the Aetna Advantage Plans and the HSA Qualified
Plans:
- The Aetna Advantage PPO Plans Features different annual
deductibles, annual out-of-pocket outlays and different CoPays for office visits,
plus quality prescription drug coverage.
- HSA Qualified Plans The Aetna Advantage High-Deductible
PPO Plans, are High Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs) designed to meet the requirements
established by the U.S. Treasury Department and are meant to work
with tax-advantaged
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). These plans use the Aetna PPO network of doctors
and offer different deductible options for both individual and family coverage.
